Overall Function
The Mass Evacuee Support Team: 1. Determines the strategic method for providing mass evacuee support 2. Compiles, analyzes and disseminates mass evacuee-related information used to facilitate the rapid, efficient and safe evacuation of threatened populations, including unaccompanied minors, people with disabilities and those with access and functional needs, household pets and service and assistance animals 3. Coordinates with other agencies, groups or entities that support the evacuation effort, to include non-governmental organizations and the private sector 4. Assists in identifying and filling staffing, material and equipment gaps at mass evacuee support sites 5. Tracks and reports on mass evacuee support activities at mass evacuee sites
