The Patrol Team:
1. Prevents, detects, and deters criminal activity
2. Renders law enforcement assistance
3. Responds to calls for service

1. Discuss logistics for deploying this team, such as working conditions, length of deployment, security, communications, lodging, transportation, and meals, prior to deployment
2. Specify the need for shotguns or patrol rifles and the need to properly secure weapons during transport and deployment
3. Specify the need for chemical agents, such as pepper ball guns, tear gas, or other agents
4. Specify the need for less-lethal weapons
5. Requestor orders a medic and ambulance separately if necessary
6. Requestor may order K-9 teams and Unmanned Aircraft Systems Teams to augment this team
7. Discuss arrangements related to arrest authority, such as deputation, before deployment
8. Discuss the need to coordinate prisoner transports
9. Requestor and provider discuss communications system requirements, such as 800 MHz requirements or need for secure channels
