The Area Command Team – Firefighting: 1. Provides oversight to multiple incidents rather than providing direct action on any one incident 2. Manages multiple incident commanders to ensure that the overall objectives are being met, to set priorities among incidents, and to allocate scarce resources between incidents 3. Coordinates conflicting objectives, strategies, priorities, and resource requests between incidents
