Description
This team primarily provides the management, technical expertise, and experience to support the goals and objectives of a community’s HM Planning Team, and plan development and implementation and secondarily, to each local, state and Federal mission areas within the affected geographic areas. This team is a group of technical expertise that can be drawn upon as needs arise. Team members are experts within specialized HM areas and can directly and indirectly assist communities or a state, on an as needed basis.

The Hazard Mitigation Operations Team provides comprehensive mitigation technical assistance to local, state and/or Federal organizations. Team members are experts in myriad areas critical to Hazard Mitigation planning and implementation.

1. Specific individual personnel resources should be ordered as a separate resource 2. Unless otherwise directed by the Agency Having Jurisdiction, the ordering agency does NOT have to match each planning resource personnel 1-to-1 but is encouraged to do so (in order to carry out and carry on the mitigation initiatives)
