Description
This team provides the technical expertise, experience, and functional management for development of FEMA approvable pre- or post-disaster Hazard Mitigation Plans. This team can directly assist 1-4 communities simultaneously or assist a state in managing Hazard Mitigation Plan development for eligible communities statewide.

The Hazard Mitigation Planning Team provides comprehensive mitigation planning assistance to another Hazard Mitigation Planning Team staffed with comparable positions so that a local Hazard Mitigation Planning capability is built and established through the process of real plan development and adoption.
Composition and Ordering Specifications
1.Specific individual personnel resources should be ordered as a separate resource 2.The ordering agency should authorize a planning team comprised of their staff, to match each planning resource personnel 1-to-1 with someone with comparable responsibilities (to carry out and carry on the planning initiatives)
