Coordinate feeding operations in a disaster environment with local, tribal, state, private, non-profit, or other multi-jurisdictional entities Experience: Operational Experience on three Type 2 events
Type 2Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1. Manage feeding operations of at least 2,500 meals per day per facility/location 2. Coordinate the operations of multiple feeding organizations 3. Solve operational problems in a feeding environment 4. Coordinate with Non-Government Organizations (NGO) and private sector service providers 5. Knowledge of state and local requirements and regulations pertaining to feeding and sanitation Experience: 1. Managing feeding operations, to include food ordering, handling, preparation, and inventory procedures 2. Responding to special dietary and cultural requirements 3. Managing support staff 4. Managing, administering, and reporting on feeding operations 5. Restaurant background or institutional facility background, such as cafeterias, and experience feeding large groups
