Type 1The Resources Unit Leader: 1. Establishes or transitions into a unit under the Planning Section 2. Configures unit with personnel to support operations 3. Compares resource needs with a list of resources available for assignment and follows the ordering process to submit completed resource requests, as necessary 4. Coordinates with other units to maintain the status of available, assigned and out-of-service resources 5. Ensures all assigned resources have checked in at the incident 6. Coordinates with the Demobilization Unit to track demobilizing resources
