| Type 1 | The MCM POD Management Team Leader: 1. Coordinates with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to implement their MCM POD plan 2. Manages, coordinates, and consults on overall MCM POD site functions, including operations, liaison, public information, security, safety, planning, logistics, and administration 3. Supervises MCM POD Management Team members, local public health personnel, infectious disease specialists, environmental health specialists, behavioral health specialists, interpreters, volunteers, vendors, contractors, and other support personnel that support the dispensing operation/modality in numbers necessary to achieve dispensing goals commensurate with the target population 4. Oversees setup, management, and demobilization of all MCM POD functions, including medical triage, sanitation, access and functional needs (AFN), form completion and review, screening, dispensing, form collection, throughput management, site security, and client education 5. Identifies, initiates, and oversees MCM dispensing strategies, such as execution of standard operating procedures 6. Manages and tracks Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) assets or other MCM supplies 7. Conducts briefings and provides just-in-time-training |
