| Type 1 | The FM DPMU Leader reports to the Mass Fatality Management Group Supervisor or designee and: 1. Manages DPMU personnel 2. Maintains and assembles equipment 3. Coordinates facility issues, such as transportation, food services, communications, Information Technology (IT) support, and medical services for DPMU members 4. Ensures resources are in place for security around the DPMU 5. Monitors DPMU personnel for physical, emotional, and psychological fatigue 6. Establishes and maintains liaison with assigned channels for logistical support 7. Coordinates DPMU efforts as necessary for the EOC, Mass Fatality Management Group, FM Assessment Team, FM Human Remains Recovery Team, Morgue Identification Center (MIC), Victim Information Center (VIC), and Family Assistance Center (FAC) 8. Acts as liaison or assigns person to interface with Public Information Officer (PIO) or Joint Information Center (JIC) |
