Type 1The primary purpose of the Medical/Public Health Shelter Team Leader is to coordinate all medical and public health activities for congregate shelters. This includes the implementation of plans, policies, and procedures for provision of primary and secondary preventative care of mass shelter community and the supervision of community health assessment (initial and ongoing) in mass shelters and the integration of team operations into the mass care site.
