Type 1The Service Branch Director: 1. Oversees the installation, distribution, maintenance, and repair of Information Technology (IT) and communications equipment 2. Oversees the feeding of response personnel through use of field kitchens, contracted catering, and other available resources 3. Provides first responder, first receiver, preventative public health, and medical support to the incident staff and teams in the field 4. Oversees the management of Medical Unit aid stations 5. Contributes to the development of the communications plan within the Incident Action Plan (IAP) 6. Establishes or transitions into a branch under the Logistics Section 7. Supervises and configures branch to support operations with units as necessary
