Type 1The EHP Environmental Specialist: 1. Assists other program specialists in complying with environmental reviews and other environmental assessments 2. Identifies EHP resource considerations and determines the incident's effect on EHP resources beyond established agreements and protocols for streamlined review 3. Provides technical assistance on environmental considerations to the incident management organization and external stakeholders 4. Performs data gathering, analysis, and interagency coordination to prepare EHP compliance documents 5. Applies the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties
